Friday Night Service

Faith Friday is the midweek gathering where Dominion City Church Georgia comes together to pray, worship, and sit under the Word. It happens every Friday night at our Norcross campus, and members from our Marietta and Decatur campuses join us there in person. If you can't make it in, we livestream the whole service online — so wherever you are in metro Atlanta, or beyond, you've got a seat.

It's a simple service with a clear rhythm: we open in prayer, move into worship, hear the Word taught by Pastor Steve, receive the offering, and close together. Two hours, start to finish. No gimmicks, no fluff — just the things that actually grow faith.

Why we gather on Fridays

Faith Friday exists for one reason: to build faith. That's true for the person who's been walking with God for thirty years and the person who just started asking questions last week. Everyone needs their faith strengthened, and Friday night is where we do that together, mid-week, before the weekend hits.

Sunday and Friday are both about the Word, but they carry a different focus. Sunday sets the tone for the week ahead. Friday is where we come back for more — a different angle, a different emphasis, a different part of our walk with God getting the attention it needs. Pastor Steve teaches on Fridays, and the format varies. Some seasons we walk through a book of the Bible together. Other weeks it's a topical series. Sometimes it's a standalone message that meets the moment we're in. What stays the same is that you'll leave with something you can actually apply to your week, your family, your work, and your walk with God.

We also take time to pray. Not a rushed opening prayer — real, unhurried prayer. It's one of the things that shapes the atmosphere of Faith Friday and part of what makes the service feel different from a typical weeknight church meeting.

What to expect when you come

Doors open a few minutes before 7 PM. You'll walk into a room set up for worship — warm, welcoming, no dress code. We start on time with prayer, so plan to arrive a little early if you want to settle in before the service begins.

Worship leads us into the teaching, which is the heart of the evening. Bring a notebook, your Bible, or both. Pastor Steve teaches in a way that's practical and rooted in Scripture, so whether this is your first time in church or you grew up in one, you'll be able to follow along and take something real home.

We receive the offering near the end of the service. If you're visiting, there's no expectation for you to give. Giving at DC Georgia is an act of worship, not an entry fee.

We close by 9 PM so you can get home, rest, and be ready for the weekend.
