VBS: The Adventure Cruise — Weekend Vacation Bible School

Set sail for an amazing week of faith, fun, and friends!

This summer, Dominion City Decatur is hosting a weekend Vacation Bible School where kids learn to make waves for Jesus — at home, at school, and in their community.

Across four fun-filled sessions, children dive into engaging Bible stories, hands-on crafts, games, snacks, and international recipes and cultural experiences from around the world. Along the way they'll make new friends, build lasting memories, and discover how they can be a witness for Jesus wherever they go.

Day 1 sets the course with Saul on the road to Damascus (Acts 9) — a picture of how one encounter with Jesus changes everything, and how each of us can be a witness for Him.

Dates & Schedule

• Sunday, July 5 — 10:00 AM–12:00 PM (VBS begins)

• Saturday, July 11 — 10:00 AM–12:00 PM

• Sunday, July 12 — 10:00 AM–12:00 PM (At Sea)

• Saturday, July 18 — Special End-of-Week Celebration: a fun-filled field trip to a water park. Permission slips and trip details will be shared beforehand.

Ages 3–12 (potty trained through 6th grade).

Meals

Lunch and/or snacks are provided each session — sack lunches throughout, plus a special lunch on the final day.
